Childrens competition

As part of the overall community aspect of the EuroCup event STACK UK are running a competition for children to enter.

It is open to individual children, with three age groups, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-11. The idea is simple, draw a design on the provide kite outline and send it off to us. We will pick winners from each age category PLUS the overall winner will get their design made into a real kite by master kite designer Carl Robertshaw. The kite design we have chosen for this is a simple hexagonal kite, a traditional Japanese design, called a Rokkaku (meaning 6 sided in Japanese). If you would like to have a go at this then download the document below, print it out and follow the instructions. If you really get into it, you can turn the paper design into a kite that will fly, instructions are on the sheet. But do this with a photocopy and don't forget to send off the original to enter the competition.
